The question is, what kind of cars do we expect to see in the coming years? Will Toyota Camry, Mazda3 and Honda Accord maintain their top position? Here is some hint.
What to expect in auto shows 2016 – 2020
1. Continental GT
Bentley Continental GT is to be released by 2018. According to some sources, it will look something close to 2015’s EXP 10 Speed 6 that got its fame due to its salient cab-rearward, a fully-equipped interior, a highly-performing engine and a fantastic paint job design. There is a plan to replace today’s steel underpinnings to make it quicker, sharper and lighter while on the road than what we have now. It will also have a larger space but will maintain the 2+2 coupe whose rear space is limited.
2. Aston Martin DBX
Aston Martin is expected to undergo a lot of changes between 2016 and 2018. One of them is a crossover that is eco-friendly. Contrary to what DBX pictured it to be, the model is bending towards a traditional SUV targeting a new version that is extremely luxurious. Aston Martin describes it as environmentally responsible, but that isn’t enough to earn it some credit in car shows. Aston Martin is looking forward to giving you an emission-free automotive with an improved engine performance and an electric motor for each wheel. If you are a true car fanatic, then you will want to pay all the upcoming auto shows some visit.
3. BMW X2
BMW brings you the smallest SUV, much sportier and sleeker than its previous versions. The paint job is nicely done, its interior is quite fascinating and last but not least, you may want to see how far it can go with an electric motor with a 100g/KM CO” emissions. BMW X2 is already receiving credits from automotive lovers for having two series of active tourer’s platform, and there are high chances it will be displayed on several upcoming car shows.
4. Ford Fiesta
Automotive fanatics all over the UK and other parts of the world are looking forward to a new MK8 version of Ford, Fiesta. Compared to the existing model, it will be a little bit lower giving it a much sleeker silhouette design, but this won’t change the platform. It is expected to be broad and long with an excellent interior, much better than what we have now. The paint Job is currently red, but this may change depending on user’s opinions. Ford Fiesta is one car you may expect to see in many upcoming car shows.
5. Honda Civic
Honda Civic has made a lot of appearances in auto shows today due to its striking, durable and spacious feature. On the other hand, it has lost many credits due to its regular driving experience and cabin, and that is why you can’t just miss the 2017 model in auto shows. The paint Job, interior, engine and many other things won’t be different from what we see in today’s version. What makes it worth waiting is, its fastback body, something that will make it outstand its competitors. But not only that. It also features a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel putting it at the top of its class. According to recent reviews, Honda Civic is one car you can’t miss in the upcoming car shows.
The bottom line
Technology is changing so fast, and so is the automotive industry. Whether it is Audi, Lexus, Subaru, Porsche or BMW, a new release will always come with its version, something much different from the current version. Everything has become a competition, from the paint Job and interior to an engine.
